TheLeon 4,027
A couple of people in my department haven’t been to work in a week. Nobody will outright say it, but it seems pretty obvious that they treated positive. They work a different shift, so I have limited interaction with them, but I’ve noticed they are the type of people who frequently pull down their masks to yell at each other. Jason 15,714
Don't expect fast rollout of COVID-19 vaccine for elderly as California faces logistical woes WWW.LATIMES.COM California's COVID-19 vaccine rollout has already been slowed by supply shortages and logistical woes. Quote In Los Angeles, public health officials said people 65 and older won’t have access to the vaccine until the county finishes vaccinating frontline workers. The county plans to vaccinate 500,000 more healthcare workers by the end of January, but currently does not have enough doses to meet that goal. “We’re not done with our healthcare workers,” said Los Angeles County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer on Wednesday, adding that the county has asked the state for more doses. “We haven’t heard back from the state about vaccine availability and how it would be distributed.” Are you fucking kidding me, the entire point is you shouldn't wait to do 100% of one group before moving onto the next group. I'm never getting this fucking vaccine am I.
