On the authority of @SFLUFAN, anyone who refers to this as the ‘rona’ or any variation therein is banned from this website. All references must follow AP style and utilize the phrase “the novel coronavirus” or “COVID-19”, noting that the latter is the disease and not the virus itself.

Furthermore, the virus itself should be referred to as its technical designation as SARS-CoV-2.

So sister of a guy my wife works with thinks she has it based off of symptoms, but she was told they don't have any tests to give her. We have no idea how widespread this is, but let's all go back to work next week.

A close friend of the family and a woman I regard as an aunt tested positive for Corona yesterday. She's pretty sure she was exposed the weekend of March 7th at a Funeral for a family member of hers. Multiple family members traveled to town from out of state and they had a big dinner before everyone left. Her older sister, who is in her 70's, got sick first and was hospitalized. It was touch and go for awhile but she seems to have stabilized. Meanwhile my "Aunt" started to feel sick and came down with sever symptoms... Fever, shortness of breath and fatigue. She was able to get tested sometime early last week and quarantined herself in her home in the meantime. She didn't see any of her children or grandchildren and rode out the worse of the symptoms. She gradually started to feel better and her test results came back yesterday confirming that she did indeed have Covid 19. The doctors feels like she's through the worse of it but she she will remain in quarantine for awhile more. She's in her 60's and has high blood pressure but she's she was able to fight it without being hospitalized.
