But doing so to browbeat critics of the Israeli government—which is not an ethnic group— is definitely objectionable, and the opposite of ‘sponsoring a more inclusive environment’ on college campuses, even though I *do* think there are critics of Israel who are really just engaging in thinly disguised antisemitism. (That just comes with the territory—just like there are plenty of critics of the Chinese government who are really just using it as a synecdoche for ‘the yellow man’.
