Just think about the years upon years of bitching from the Brett Stevenses of the world about college students needing safe spaces based on random hearsay, and now we see the actual endgame of people actually trying to suppress free speech on college campuses

In principle I don’t have a problem with classifying Jews as an ethnicity/nationality —there’s a pretty good historical case for that.

 

But doing so to browbeat critics of the Israeli government—which is not an ethnic group— is definitely objectionable, and the opposite of ‘sponsoring a more inclusive environment’ on college campuses, even though I *do* think there are critics of Israel who are really just engaging in thinly disguised antisemitism.  (That just comes with the territory—just like there are plenty of critics of the Chinese government who are really just using it as a synecdoche for ‘the yellow man’.  See: posters in the comments section of Zerohedge articles)

A pretty good example of how people just make things up about anything the Trump admin does. Like, these clowns do enough legitimately awful things that we don’t need to invent fake ones to be outraged at.
