thewhyteboar finally knocks Keyser_Soze from his perch atop the leaderboard!  Losing on the Feature Game, but doing well in the questions, thewhyteboar eeks his was into the lead.  Only $400 separates 1st and 2nd place, and most of the leaderboard is still in a single week's striking distance!

 

########## WEEK 11 RESULTS ##########

 

Feature Game - Pittsburgh Steelers (+3.5) at Cleveland Browns
The Browns rolled over the Steelers by a score of 21-10.5(7+3.5).  Bets on Cleveland win.  Biggie was the only player to call Cleveland, despite them being favored!

 

QUESTIONS
1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Steelers TD, Steelers FG, Steelers safety, Browns TD, Browns FG, Browns safety, or other? ($1,700 for the correct call)
The first scoring play was a Mayfield keeper up the gut from a yard out. Calls on a Browns TD get it. Biggie was the only player to call a Cleveland touchdown to kick things off.

 

2) Which team in the Feature Game will be more heavily penalized in terms of YARDAGE? ($1,400 for the correct call)
Cleveland by far.  The Browns had a total of 121 penalty yards to Pittsburgh's 41.

 

3) Which game on SUNDAY will have the lowest combined score? ($1,500 for the correct game)
The Bears @ Rams game tallied a mere 24 points between the two teams to be our low scoring contest for the week. Alpha1Cowboy was the only player to see this lack of offensive production coming.

 

4) How many total yards will Baltimore rush for this week? 0-49, 50-99, 100-149, 150-199, or 200+ ($1,700 for the right guess)
Baltimore tore up the turf for a combined 263 yards rushing in Week 11.  Bets on 200+ win, but nobody called it.

 

5) Call the winners:
NY Jets at Washington
Jacksonville at Indianapolis
New England at Philadelphia
($1,400 for EACH correct named game winner, $2,800 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)
AbsolutSurgen, BasemntDweller2, and thewhyteboar each called all 3 games correctly to earn the bonus!

 

6) Kings of Florida - Which Florida team will score the most points in Week 11? ($1,500 for the right team)
Surprisingly it was the Dolphins who led all Florida teams with 20 points on the board. Nobody called Miami.

 

7) Escape Velocity - Name the player that will record the highest top speed for a scoring play in Week 11 ($3,000 for the right player)
While a few ball carriers were faster, your top speed on a scoring play was 20.84 MPH, clocked by the Saints' Marcus Williams on a 55 yard interception return for a touchdown in the 4th quarter against the Bucs.  Nobody called Williams.

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week eleven. ($4,500 for each player named correctly, $9,000 bonus if both names are called)
Jonathan Williams carried the ball for 116 yards to lead all runners and Michael Gallup caught 148 yards of passes to top the week's receivers.  Nobody called either player.

Week 12 Feature Game
Baltimore Ravens (-3.5) at LA Rams
(Remember you are betting against the spread)

 

QUESTIONS
1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Ravens TD, Ravens FG, Ravens safety, Rams TD, Rams FG, Rams safety, or other? ($1,800 for the correct call)

 

2) How many total combined touchdowns will be scored in the Feature Game? ($1,800 for the correct call)

 

3) Which game in Week 12 will have the highest combined score? ($1,600 for the correct game)

 

4) Which QB in Week 12 will have the highest number of pass attempts? ($2,000 for the right guess)

 

5) Call the winners:
Seattle at Philadelphia
Denver at Buffalo
Green Bay at San Francisco
($1,500 for EACH correct named game winner, $3,000 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)

 

6) Taking into account TOTAL DISTANCE covered on the field, name the team that will have the single longest play of Week 12. ($1,800 for the right team)

 

7) Name any RB that will average 5 or more yards per carry with at least 10 attempts. ($2,000 for any correct player)

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week twelve. ($5,000 for each player named correctly, $10,000 bonus if both names are called)
