Polling in Canada's recent election supports theory that how people believe in open-mindedness or order correlates to how liberal/conservative they are

Recommended Posts

Just a single graph in this tweet, but pollsters this election asked a lot of questions about how people voted and then compared it to questions surrounding open-mindedness, child-rearing, etc. This won't come as a surprise to people who know conservatives and liberals, but it seems more well-supported now by general polling:

I will try to find the child-rearing correlation, but basically there were four questions asked surrounding if you believe in disciplining a child, and it predicted with remarkable accuracy if you voted conservative, liberal, or social-democrat.
