We're at the half-way point of the regular season!  Time to buckle down and use what we've learned about these teams to ramp up your scores for the NFL's second act!  It's still anyone's game as large jumps and even larger falls happen often in the MGT.  This week however, the game belongs to Keyser_Soze who was one of only three players to hit on the Feature Game!  His lead is slim; can he maintain?

 

########## WEEK 7 RESULTS ##########

 

Week 7 Feature Game - Philadelphia Eagles (+3.5) at Dallas Cowboys
The Eagles flew right into 2nd place in the NFC East, losing to Dallas by a score of 13.5(10+3.5)-37.  Bleh.  Only Biggie, Jose and Keyser_Soze bet this game correctly.

 

QUESTIONS
1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Eagles TD, Eagles FG, Eagles safety, Cowboys TD, Cowboys FG, Cowboys safety, or other? ($900 for the correct call)
Tavon Austin took a pass 20 yards for a touchdown in the 1st quarter to kick off the scoring in this drubbing.

 

2) Moving the sticks: Which team in the Feature Game will convert the highest percentage of their 3rd downs? ($700 for the correct call)
Dallas converted 57% of their 3rd down opportunities while Philly only managed to move the sticks on 1/3rd of their attempts.  Guesses on Dallas win.

 

3) How many total rushing yards do the Raiders put up in Week 7? 0-49, 50-99, 100-149, 150-199, 200+? ($900 for the right name)
Josh Jacobs led the running game for the Raiders, tallying 124 yards.  Adding in the other players who carried the ball, Oakland put up a total of 155 yards on the ground. AbsolutSurgen was the only player to correctly call 150-199 and get the cash for this question.

 

4) Name any TWO teams that will not surpass a single-digit score in Week 7. Teams on a Bye don't count.($900 for the correct guess)
The Redskins and Jets got blanked while the Broncos and 49'ers only scored 6 and 9, respectively. Dodger was the only player to guess a combination of these four teams.

 

5) Call the winners:
Houston at Indianapolis
Minnesota at Detroit
L.A. Chargers at Tennessee
($700 for EACH correct named game winner, $1,300 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)

No bonus awarded.

 

6) How many total field goals (not PATs) will be attempted in the Baltimore @ Seattle game? ($900 for the correct number)
6 field goals were made in this game with seventh being attempted but missed.  Dodger was the only player to guess 7.

 

7) Which team will get more total offensive yardage in the Jacksonville @ Cincinnati game? ($700 for a correct guess)
Jacksonville put up a combined 460 yards to the Bengals' 291.

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week seven. ($2,500 for each player named correctly, $5,000 bonus if both names are called)
Dalvin Cook (rushing) and Stefon Diggs (receiving) both put up a 142 yards this weekend to lead the League.  thewhyteboar called Cook correctly.  Nobody called Diggs.

2) Which team in the Feature Game will have the most rushing yards? ($900 for the correct call)

 

3) North vs South: Which division will score the most points this weekend between the NFC North and NFC South? ($900 for the right division)

 

4) How many touchdowns will be scored in the Oakland @ Houston game? ($1,100 for the correct number)

 

5) Call the winners:
Seattle at Atlanta
Philadelphia at Buffalo
Green Bay at Kansas City
($800 for EACH correct named game winner, $1,500 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)

 

6) Name the player that will have the most return yards in Week 8 (punt and kick-off). ($1,500 for the correct player)

 

7) Name the player that will pass for the most yards in Week 8. ($1,500 for the right name)

Yeah, that game was a drag.  I root for the Eagles twice a year and this weekend both my teams let me down. :|
