elbobo
I work in the firearms industry. Colt is just shifting their focus to fulfilling their government contracts, if they and when they get caught up with those they will reenter in the civilian market. Colt has been the most mismanaged company around for decades, the fact that their carcass is still limping around is a borderline miracle. There are still probably 20 or so major manufacturers that produce ARs and 100s of small shops.
thewhyteboar
Good. Now if just all companies would stop all civilian sales.
mclumber1
Meh. I just bought a couple of lower receivers last month from a mom and pop manufacturer. I'm building a pistol and a full length rifle over the next few months. There are dozens of choices of finished rifles and build kits out there. I never even considered buying a colt, honest.
