Television Warhammer 40K live-action series "Eisenhorn" currently being developed by The Man In The High Castle creator

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war.

Quote

While humanity’s armies wage unending war across a million battlefields, in the darkness, a secret conflict rages – fought by the agents of the Imperial Inquisition. Drawing from sci-fi, fantasy and crime genres, Eisenhorn will see Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn and his band of investigators fight to thwart the monstrous schemes of aliens, heretics and daemons before mankind’s doom is sealed.

For those of you whose only experience with Warhammer 40K is the hulking Space Marines, the Imperial Inquisition is a bit different.  This is what Inquisitor Eisenhorn looks like:

I am also theoretically very interested in this. The Eisenhorn Quadrology is a fantastic series. Perfect mix of 40K grimdark with crime drama.

They are gonna need a HELLUVA BUDGET for this to not look like warmed-over dog shit.

Frankly, the only two options are Netflix and Amazon.  If both decline, they might as well cancel the project.

Agreed. Don't waste our time with a fantastic backstory and mythology if you aren't going to do it right. And they need a real auteur who understands Warhammer 40K to do it. Surely there are some.

Every single scene in a drywalled 24x12 room with grime on the walls. Book it.

Oh God. Just do a Warhammer 40K live play of the board game at that point. It would probably be better with the right Master anyway. :p
