Television Mindhunter Season 2 to debut on August 16 - update: official trailers

Recommended Posts

LOVED the first season and what really has me intrigued is how Damon Herriman is going to play the character of Manson in both this and "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood". Will it be the same or do Quentin & Fincher have different visions (supposedly so considering their uniqueness to film)!?

I'm also curious about this - I imagine they will be very different because Tarantino and Fincher work in very different tones. We'll see!

Show is good, offender profiling is an abomination.

Huh?

Law enforcement creating suspects off of personality, racial, and economic characteristics--which is what Holden and his team are inventing in Mindhunter, which is based on a true story--has done more harm than good.

But if it got us this show I say it was worth it.

Never thought of it that way.

6 episodes so far and loving every second of it. I'll hold off on discussion until I have others to bounce off of, meanwhile I'll probably finish up the season tonight (unfortunately on 9 episodes total!!)

Binge complete. Really didn't wanna work the next three nights in a row without having finished this. It was worth it, despite the nightmares I had last night and the ones I'm likely to have tonight.

Show is top notch. It's so tense. I knew about the Atlanta Child Murders before, but it was still gut wrenching, watching it all play out and knowing the other murderer(s) were never caught and the other 27 families never got justice.

Oh yeah, the guy who played Berkowitz is the stuff of nightmares.

Berkowitz makes me laugh every time I see him.  He looks like someone who would be bitching at the staff in a Manhattan deli about how they can never get his pastrami on rye order right.

He's so New York, he's half Jewish, half Italian. If there have ever been genetics predisposed to bitching at someone in a deli, this is it.
