You know its bad if your best defense is: "it should be legal because it's not actually bad to do" or "lots of other people have done it, so surely it's okay".

I think his best defense was, "if a girl has a sexual encounter she's too young to consent to then winds up pregnant either her rapist should be allowed to force her to carry to term or 14 year olds actually CAN consent QED the supreme court said so."

A fourth source said an assault has not been ruled out, and that another inmate was questioned. The inmate who investigators have talked to in Lower Manhattan facility has been identified as Nicholas Tartaglione, according to a source. Tartaglione is a former Orange County police officer who was arrested in December 2016 and accused of killing four men in an alleged cocaine distribution conspiracy, then burying their bodies in his yard in Otisville, according to court records.

So this was an attempted hit right?

Late to the party but I'm gonna go with it being a message. Pretty sure if it had been an actual hit he'd be dead.

Like I said in the other thread, he was on suicide watch and this happened? Someone fucked up or something is fishy.

Will it though?  The amount of material recovered from Epstein's properties is apparently HUGE.  There are also dozens if not hundreds of witnesses who can testify against the people who raped and sexually abused them.

Will prosecutors be able to get everyone?  Probably not.  But it was also unlikely if Epstein was still alive.

Welp this "suicide" is sure gonna let a lot of people off the hook

Actually it seems like it's the opposite, if what I'm reading is correct; investigators now have basically complete impunity to take any and all evidence they want, without a warrant.
