PC Tech Lately some games on PC caused it to freeze.

So here's the kicker.  Games like Doom, Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, and Nioh have no problems running on my computer.

 

Yet games like Shellshock Live and My Friend Pedro for some reason causes my computer to randomly freeze and takes about a minute or two to load. 

 

I'm not sure what's going on.  Is there something wrong with my HDD, my RAM, or are these games just oddly optimized?

I had this happen when I updated my Nvidia driver recently. Destiny went from a super solid 120fps to 80-110fps with some hitches. I might downgrade back two patches and see if it goes back to normal. 

 

There is also the new Windows 10 update that has been causing some serious issues. Go into your theme settings, select color, and make sure the "automatically select color based on background" is unselected.

I'm still using Windows 7.  I never was able to get the free update sadly.

Have you updated anything else lately?

Only the Nvidia drivers and GeForce experience.  I thought that would fix things, but unfortunately that didn't do much to help.
