Joe Biden is not my ideal candidate. But it does make me happy to see a presidential candidate talk about redlining.

Eliminate local and state housing regulations that limit affordable housing options and contribute to urban sprawl. Housing policy can be used as a tool to battle climate change. Many lower- and middle-income Americans are forced to live far away from job centers due to high housing costs, leading not only to workers being overburdened by long commutes and transportation costs, but also to higher greenhouse gas emissions. Biden will tie new federal investments in housing to a requirement that states and localities eliminate regulations that reduce the availability of affordable housing and contribute to sprawl. He will direct his Secretaries of Housing and Urban Development and Transportation to identify existing federal grant programs that can be amended by adding zoning reform as a requirement. And, Biden will expand investments in Local Housing Policy Grants to give states and localities the technical assistance and planning support they need to modernize housing regulations.

I won't swoon, but I'll consider stanning

White Supremacist Antifa Hunter Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

Quote

A white man from Florida (you already know what kind of story this is about to be) has earned himself nearly three and a half years in prison for cyberstalking and threatening a Black Lives Matter activist who planned on running for public office.

The Associated Press reports that 32-year-old Daniel McMahon of Brandon, Fla., pleaded guilty in April to threatening Black activist Don Gathers to keep him from running for a seat on the city council in Charlottesville, Va. McMahon—who reportedly called himself “the Antifa hunter” and made a habit out of using social media to harass people who oppose white supremacy—was sentenced Monday to three years and five months in federal prison for cyberstalking and bias-motivated intimidation and interference with a candidate for elected office.

Quote

According to AP, McMahon admitted to threatening to sexually assault the autistic daughter of a North Carolina woman who protested white nationalism and was present during the virtual hearing and allowed to tell her story along with other victims of McMahon’s online harassment.

Very fine people indeed.

I would dump the left red and yellow bars, move the symbol and stars to the left a bit, lose the text.

That specific text was required by the law they passed to change the flag.

Don't worry, it will come out later that was in the same zip code as someone who smoked weed a few years ago, and therefore he deserved to die.

Also, he had COVID.

What is the joke in how people will deny wrongdoing in the killing of this guy?

He doesn’t have COVID.
The joke was that they’ll claim he has COVID. You then stated the obvious in saying they’ll then blame COVID for his death... because that was literally the entire point of the sarcastic post about him having COVID.

But Covid doesn't kill people.  And police brutality doesn't exist.  So...

Is he actually still alive?!

In Cuba with Tupac and Fidel. Possibly JFK.

I don't know but I'm with you. Shame on people making light of an innocent African American dying. They should be lighting  candles in their homes and saying prayers for him.

I guess that is a joke. Humor is certainly subjective.

Interesting that you don’t take offense to the sarcasm I quoted and was adding onto with “Also, COVID”.

The “joke” wasn’t about his wrongful death, it is in regards to how cops/blue lives matter idiots will try to spin it as not being the fault of the cops.

I’d be more than happy to explain why in a PM
