crispy4000 Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Announced by Phil via Youtube’s E3 show. Layered/split off subscriptions are the future. Quote
crispy4000 Posted June 9, 2019 Author Posted June 9, 2019 They almost enabled separate publisher forefronts within Stadia too. Phil said it’s theoretically possible for publishers to band together to create their own group subscriptions. I’m less than optimistic about that one, lol. Quote
AbsolutSurgen Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 I am assuming this is a Stadia specific subscription? I.e. if I have Origin Premiere, can I play it on my Stadia account without me having to give Google extra $$$? Quote

He talked about it in a way that implied that Stadia would play nice with outside services. For google, I think it’s a safe bet. Mostly because their ‘free’ 1080p tier is a thing. You wouldn’t be able to play with 4K streaming without paying Google. Quote
