General Gaming Ubisoft E3 2019 Line-Up announcement

Recommended Posts

I usually buy at least a couple of Ubi games a year.  This may be the first year that I don't get anything from them.

I generally have enjoyed their single player open world games, but I have very little interest in their GaaS.

Honestly, if they're not going to announce a new Splinter Cell, they should just tell us now. No point in leaving us hanging the entire time.

Let’s Dance would be listed after Celebrity Showdown because no one cares. Splinter Cell is happening

My Ubi strategy is generally I'll get the Far Cry's because I really enjoy those, and then eventually at some point, get the better AC games on sale.

Do we really want to see what current Ubi would do to Splinter Cell...?

Yes. Even if just for closure.

I actually liked Blacklist, even if I didn't care for the way they integrated co-op into the story (i never had a co-op buddy to play with so that part of the game was essentially closed off to me). It left me hopeful for another game, but their reluctance to announce one does have me wary that they've been fucking around trying to figure out a way to Ubi-fy it, rather than just making a good, linear game.

I actually never played Blacklist, should I?

I have a feeling this is going to be a very weak show overall with everyone in the early stages of switching to next gen development

Exactly what I'm thinking too! I expect a rather Blaaaah E3 in total. Sure a few teases, and even less surprises. Still gonna follow it, it's just what us gamers do . . .

If you like Splinter Cell, then yes. It offers the most flexible approach to a situation yet. You also get rewarded for playing your way instead of punished.

Oh hmmm...that actually sounds cool. I honestly ignored it because Conviction was so stupid. I'll put it on the list!

Are there really enough people playing For Honor for them to keep releasing updates?

I'm guessing with their current playbase and then those that joined with it being free on PS+ mean a 'yes'.

It's better than Conviction but still not as good as good Spliner Cell. That being said I only played it in co-op about a year ago and don't remember a damn thing about it.
