johnny Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 It’s fucking great. Fuck Aladdin. This is a fantastic directorial debut for Olivia Wilde. The two female leads have great chemistry. Quote
Greatoneshere Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 That's the word on the festival circuit. I look forward to seeing it once it's on streaming/bluray. Quote

Guest Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 Tried to get the wife to go the other night, but couldn’t fit it into the schedule. Gonna hit it up during the week. Quote

GeneticBlueprint Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 Just saw it. It was great. All the actors in this movie were off the fucking charts. Quote
GeneticBlueprint Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 I don't know why I wrote this review in the 'just watched' thread and not here. But I'll copy paste here in case anyone needs more encouragement to go see this movie: Booksmart - 10/10 - I never knew that I would connect so heavily with a movie about a teenage lesbian full of music I detest. But I connected so much with Amy because I was introverted and unsure of myself in high school just like she was. Then when I graduated I took off to another continent to find myself. I don't know man but this funny as hell movie had me tearing up. And my goodness if Beanie Feldstein (Molly) isn't in every movie ever going forward that will be a great injustice. She was so good. Easily my favorite of 2019 thus far. Quote
TheLeon Posted September 14, 2019 Posted September 14, 2019 This came out on video this week, so you losers better watch it. Quote
