We should be doing a way better job helping anybody who needs shelter. We also need to be doing a better job for mental illness that leads to people being homeless.

many people who are homeless are employed, but the cost of housing is far too high

They need to do that in Reno that's for sure! Houses here are skyrocketing in price and apartments continue to raise prices because of the lack in affordable houses.
