This is great for a gaming drive) *3.5 hours left in lightning deal as of posting this Update: https://www.rakuten.com/shop/thekeykey/product/220391/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app GREAT drive for gaming, ridiculously quick read speeds, write speeds slow down after storage fills up above 75%ish, so I wouldn’t recommend it as an OS/boot drive
Spawn_of_Apathy
I’d jump at it if it were external.

You’d be better off spending the extra $2 on the Sandisk SSD Plus now, or the extra $12 for the Adata SU800, both have faster write speeds and potentially a longer lifespan due to the 3D plating (the SU800 is basically an MX500 with a different cache iirc). cusideabelincoln
I think $80 will be the common price for 1TB by the end of the year. I'm glad flash storage is dropping because I plan to build a new PC this year, probably this summer. Cheaper RAM and NVMe prices have me salivating. cusideabelincoln
As long as you dedicate these kinds of SSDs to storage only where 95% of the activity are going to be reads with few writes, endurance shouldn't be a problem.
