Dodger Posted March 29, 2019 Share Posted March 29, 2019 I’m not sure how I feel about it after a full listen. There’s parts I like, but the album feels like it never fully develops. I don’t mind the weird quirky songs when it’s just a song or two, but this feels like an entire album of that. When I first heard Genesis I was hoping this album was building toward something, and it feels like the payoff never comes. Hear Me is my clear favorite track so far. I somehow ended up with 3 copies of Transcendence but I think that’s because the pair of VIP tickets I bought to one show came with a cd each. Keyser_Soze Posted March 30, 2019 Author Share Posted March 30, 2019 Word of warning, if you guys get the CD (Not that you'll listen to it) it splits the last song up into 6 tracks. On the flip side it has a bonus CD of demo songs! Listening now, not sure where the "quirky" criticism comes into play. The album has a very cohesive flow and direction to me.
