And if Titanfall's the best mech game we can muster -- a game where you spend like 20% of the game in a mech, then that's even more proof the mech genre needs a kick in the ass! Like, would you rater play as a rock with feet or a dude who moves like water. It is also like tanks. They are powerful, but tanks fucking suck to control. (Which is actually pretty silly to call it a "simulation", given you are simulating a fictitious thing). So a "mech game" would be any game that has a significant focus on mechs -- it doesn't refer to a genre.
