run32.dll Posted July 6, 2018 Share Posted July 6, 2018 My more reasonable and practical plan I could settle with: Medicare for All Free college education for all Raise social security to a living income Have SNAP provide the equivalent of the average amount spent on food by same sized households (single vs. single, 4 person family vs. 4 person family) in the state that are earning the median household income for their household size in that state Seize pharmaceutical companies, make the employees that actually research and develop medicine employees of the new socialized pharmaceutical administration. Imprison the c-suites of the pharmaceutical companies and anyone with 1% or more shares for life. Make C Corporations illegal Make it illegal for anyone who is not a current or former employee of a business to have ownership in it but only current employees have voting shares Make credit cards and payday lending illegal. Imprison the c-suites of these companies and anyone with 1% or more shares for life. Seize all vacation homes, rental properties, and investment properties and distribute them among the poor who have never owned homes at prices they can reasonably afford with 0% interest loans. Turn former apartments into public housing for the poor that will cost no one more than 1/5 of their monthly income. Seize hotels as needed in urban areas to be converted into full service centers for the homeless that will include on site mental healthcare, rehabilitation, and vocational training. marioandsonic Posted July 6, 2018 Share Posted July 6, 2018 I like legend's ideas, but I would add two more. -come up with loan forgiveness plans for those that pay their loans on-time every month until either 10 years have passed or over half of the loan is paid off, which ever comes first. -all of those that are currently in charge of for-profit schools are to be immediately put to the sword.
