We know what and where these stories are heading too. Maybe they will take that to heart and change it up with the 2nd season being green lit I haven't watched the whole series but I thought the same thing after watching the premiere. An hour is too long for this format. Black Mirror is able to pull that off but it's the exception. The original series did experiment with hour long episodes in its fourth season but with two or three exceptions, those are the generally considered to be the weaker episodes.
