Probes to investigate that stuff will happen in our life time unless you die young or we kill ourselves. As such, we very well may see aliens. TheGreatGamble Posted October 26, 2019 Share Posted October 26, 2019 the only chance we ever have at proving the existence of alien life will probably be through radio telescopes and such, but we would have to massively upgrade and improve our equipment. I think funding SETI to massively expand their search is the only chance we ever have of finding evidence of intelligent life. Travelling and meeting in person definitely is not in the cards (and I wish it was, more than anyone). Even then, if we detected signals, it could be from species that are already long dead.
