If they would've given it another year, they would've done well. This year wasn't the right time, and I'm willing to be everyone knew it, but EA gotta EA.

 

I'm actually hoping this is the failure that forces them to give the series a refresh. 

 

I personally wouldn't mind a tighter, more focused experience like Bad Company 2.

It released too close to RDR2 (esp with Online going live now) and COD. This shouldve released in Jan...but they miss the holiday rush. Another year wouldnt have hurt either to pack it with more content, but that goes againsts EA live model. 

 

As for the experience - it sounds like this BF is what youre looking for. Its not nearly as chaotic as BF1 and requires more strategic play if you dont want to get lit up.
