The Mariners

LOL, Schneider didn’t realize he was walking out for his second mound visit of an inning and was forced to pull Monah, who was pitching a pretty decent game and only at 85 pitches.

I really need Julio to get out of this slump so he won't be the ASG hosted by his own city.

The wife and I have already booked our annual ASG trip and I at least need Julio in the derby since I’m going to that in person

The Padres are 6 games under .500, 9 games back in the division, and 1-9 in their last 10 games. I don’t know how the owner doesn’t fire literally everybody if this keeps up in June and in to July.

The Mets, after brining up some rookies of all things, have made it back to .500 and look like a real team again.

Buying championships is hard when you haven’t also invested in creating top notch player development. Like, imagine the Rays org with Cohen as the owner so they stop selling off their elite players once they reach arbitration.

Just leaving the game, Framber Valdez going the distance with a shutout of the pitiful As. I took my niece, who had literally never watched a baseball game. It was hilarious having to explain the game to somebody who knew literally nothing about it, and it also highlights how arbitrary everything about sports rules are 😂

I mean, at least most of these dudes should be in the minors making $700 a week, and instead are getting the league minimum $4500 a GAME.

Yanks sweep the Reds. Some easy pickings outside of the AL East.

If things keep up, this may go down as the MLB season with the largest percentage of actual bad teams. Going into this weekend, more than half the teams in MLB were under .500!

I’m not sure I can even count 10 legitimately good teams so far this season.

Oakland Athletics broadcaster Glen Kuiper was fired by NBC Sports California after using a racial slur during a telecast while describing a trip to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.

A person familiar with the investigation said "the decision was based on a variety of factors, including information uncovered in the internal review."

Like I said, he was very comfortable saying that word. I can only imagine the texts and emails that were uncovered

Teams keep bringing in their lefty specialist to face Yordan Alvarez and it keeps being a very bad choice 😂 The guy’s lefty/righty splits are virtually identical, and the average left handed reliever is worse than the average right handed reliever.

I ended up watching most of the Dodgers/Braves game. That was great. Even though they lost, Ronny stealing third base on a BB was a highlight. Really smart play there.

Soto, Judge, and Reynolds in the Yankees outfield for the second half.

Rafael Montero got a big pay day after playing a huge role for the Astros last season and has now returned to his career average. Deal was signed before the Astros had their GM in place, turns out that’s an important job. Whoooops.

Yordan Alvarez is now hitting .471 with RISP. It is insane to me that he sees any pitches when flippin' Jose Abreu is batting behind him most games so far.

Costco has done that with teams for years now. I know the Yankees and Red Sox have the same deal at Costco.

I’ve never seen that here for the Braves. Must just be offered for the second class organizations.
