I don’t know how the owner doesn’t fire literally everybody if this keeps up in June and in to July. The Mets, after brining up some rookies of all things, have made it back to .500 and look like a real team again. Buying championships is hard when you haven’t also invested in creating top notch player development. I took my niece, who had literally never watched a baseball game. If things keep up, this may go down as the MLB season with the largest percentage of actual bad teams. Going into this weekend, more than half the teams in MLB were under .500!
