A great reminder

Further research on what kinds of minor leaguers end up being major leaguers.

This is pretty much how I feel. The price is steep but it had to be. I wonder if they dangled the same deal for Soto and were told no dice.

Intentionally trying to hurt players is one of the dumbest things about “old school” baseball people

and worth noting, Jrod got hit on a pitch he *swung at*

I didn’t watch it live, but I asked a source who I trust (my dad), and he said he didn’t think it was intentional. Kirby is a rookie on a strict pitch count who had no control in the first (almost half his pitches were balls), it doesn’t make sense for it to be intentional.

JV, jeeez. And he’s doing it a different way than pre TJ surgery. Not getting the whiffs he previously did, but pitching guys in places that make it difficult to get hard contact.

Weird to think that Mancini to going to hit more homers by moving out of a ballpark that has traditionally been a bandbox.

They completely remodeled the outfield at Camden in the off season. It’s a pitcher’s park now.

I think the expected number of home runs at the park has decreased by around 60 per season with the deeper left field and double height on the wall.

@ManUtdRedDevils

Almost every move the Yankees have made has been players with good career numbers against the Astros core. Cashman knows what the club needs, and it isn’t just blockbuster deals like getting Soto. Finding guys who just seem to have your number one AL obstacle’s number is smart.

Astros get another hole taken care of by getting Christian Vasquez from the Red Sox. Maldanado can’t keep playing as much as he has, and they need more production from the catcher spot.

But super awkward as the Red Sox start a series tonight with the Astros 😂

I love Vasquez and who the fuck is gonna catch for Boston now?

They brought up a minor leaguer to the 40 man roster earlier today.

And for whatever reason they just traded for Tommy Pham 😂
