There's a bunch of others, and I just copy/pasted a bunch and then gave up because I need to take a nap. :p

But it's all in the link.

It's nice you think spiderman will win anything when God of war and rdr is there.  I think spiderman should win awards though

Oh, I don't think Spider-Man will win, I was posting what I would pick for those categories. I'm sure that RDR2 and GoW will dominate awards across the web.

I am not one to complain a whole lot about awards nominations, but god damn are a lot of those games some shit nominations.

Detroit being nominated for anything, let alone plot awards, should immediately disqualify the legitimacy of awards show.

And like, octopath is an OK game, but iirc there’s not really a whole lot of music to that game. And it certainly didn’t wow me.

I habe other opinions but those ones immediately popped out at me.

"What if we used the story as a metaphor for the social inequities in society"

I'm sorry, but the robot metaphor cannot and should not be used as an allegory for race, or any other marginalized group.

"Are robots people" is an actual discussion that will eventually need to happen as tech advances and AI becomes more powerful.  At what point have we stopped emulating a thinking being, and at what point have we created one is actually a debate.  "Are these people actually people" is not a debate.  At all.  To even begin to conflate the two is both stupid and profoundly misguided.

Obra Dinn only nominated for art direction and "best indie game"?

Man, the story in that game has hooked me more than any of the top-tier schlock we've had this year.

Fucking Detroit?

What the fuck ever.  I see a lot of David Cage hate and not much more.

Detroit was very good, as was Beyond: Two Souls.

It's okay that you like shitty garbage, but don't try to convince us it's chocolate.

I'm pretty sure you totally missed the irony/sarcasm in @skillzdadirecta's statement :p
