It never gets discussed now, but I wonder with Cohen partially flipping it we'll ever get more details about the guy who supposedly came up to Clifford randomly in Vegas and threatened her and her kid if she talked.

The hamberder helper?

Rare Thursday activity from Mueller grand jury could presage indictments coming tomorrow.

But Washington Post legal specialist Spencer Hsu reports that the jury has entered an unusual Thursday session—the first such session since July 12. That July session was followed the next day by a series of indictments. In that case, those indictments were against a dozen Russian intelligence operatives who were involved in hacking the email servers at the Democratic National Committee.

The Thursday session has apparently featured an appearance from Andrew Stettner. Stettner is the stepson of professional conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi.

It's a pretty thin reed to make a prediction on, but Mueller has been pretty quiet lately so I figured might as well post it.

Although don’t federal courts potentially run out of money on Feb 1st. Another reason to keep the shutdown going and for Mueller to push things forward

Yeah, this is going to be a pretty tough one for the president to get out of.

Yikes! No matter how much Trump tweets about a “Witch Hunt” now, it’s pretty clear that in 2009, he thought Mueller was a straight shooter who would successfully put him in jail for life. See the awkward tweet for yourself below:

As if the tweet wasn’t good enough on its own, the embarrassment didn’t stop at 140 characters: 2009 Trump apparently went on a multi-tweet tirade about how certain he was that Robert Mueller would one day conduct a brilliant, honest investigation to expose the president’s criminal collusion with Russia and send him to prison:

@Jason One for everything, in this case two (or three in the link). Damn, it's over.

No, it doesn’t.

To me, it did.

The first half of the Tweet about Mueller being honest and talented is very plausible. One could imagine some FBI investigation at the time where Trump was cheering for the FBI. He has dozens of people where there are old tweets of him praising them, only to turn on them later.

The second half is more problematic, but in the vein of Trump's disjointed Tweets I thought maybe he was making some self deprecating joke to praise Mueller by saying he was so good he could even lock Trump up. Granted, Trump is not much for self-deprecating humor, but it has been known to happen. Remember the time when Cohen had just turned and Trump came out with a Tweet that said something like, "If you're looking for a lawyer, I wouldn't reccomend Micheal Cohen".

That's why I said, taking into account some of his crazy Tweets in the past, I would consider that one plausible as I could see some possible context in which Trump might have said it.

Right?  I'm only up because I'm prepping my body for night shift Friday night. I was getting pretty sleepy but this PURE ECSTASY will easily keep me awake until 6.

For me it's because I have an early flight and I think my body reacts to my paranoia about oversleeping through my flight by doing this to me.
