I hope we get rid of Rubio in 2022.

I hope 54 legitimately elected democratic US senators cast 52 (let's be real) legitimate votes to expand the supreme, district, appeals, and circuit courts and be filled en masse by a legitimately elected president Biden's actually highly qualified nominees to these posts.

Any time one of these Senators try to speak from now until the end of time, the person they are speaking too should just put up their hand and say... "You are a snake tongued liar whose empty words carry no meaning. Nothing you say has any weight because you have no integrity and are a known brazen hypocrite who has no meaningful values. You believe in nothing. I have nothing to say to someone as morally craven as you are. Shut your god damned liar mouth or I will shut it for you."

Was this not commonly known? This reporting has been out for ages

i can't believe they're going with this bullshit excuse of why she apparently won't repeal the ACA in a few weeks.

Actually I can, but it's just so transparently stupid.

You would think the democratic establishment would see this is as a blessing with coming (now here) election. Win the presidency, the house, the senate, have ACA overturned, introduce a new bill, more comprehensive, better for the people, that doesn't capitulate to the Republican.

But that would mean they would need to have not only vision, but the stones to follow through on that vision.

I mean, even in this world where the democratic establishment has a vision, without court reform it can all just be undone well after they are out of power!

They found someone even more ridiculously unqualified than Barret.

The nomination of Washington, D.C., attorney Kathryn Kimball Mizelle, a 33-year-old Lakeland native, has made waves in the legal community.

The American Bar Association sent a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee in September saying that, despite her credentials, Mizelle’s lack of trial experience renders her unqualified to be appointed to the federal judiciary.

“It’s just unusual to have someone appointed who is that young,” said University of Richmond School of Law professor Carl Tobias, who studies the selection of federal judges. “When the ABA rates people, it likes to see 12 years of practical experience. Of course she doesn’t have that. But she has clerked for a number of well-respected federal judges.”

Mizelle graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2012. She has worked in the Department of Justice and clerked in the Middle District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.

She has never tried a criminal or civil case, even as co-counsel, since being admitted to the Bar eight years ago, according to a Sept. 8 letter written by Randall D. Noel, chairman of the association’s standing committee on the federal judiciary, to the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Dems should consider it criminal if he doesn’t retire after the current SCOTUS term ends in the summer.

"we shouldn't be confirming anyone to SCOTUS after such a contested presidential election" -Mitch McTurtle, probably (thankfully, he won't matter this time... unless it's after 2022 mid-terms :| )
