Boeing helpfully tells pilots how to deal with erroneous sensor readings that contributed to crash last week that killed 189

So they had a malfunctioning instrument for the last 4 flights of this plane, and they knew it was a problem even before they took off on the flight that crashed. Yeah, it's on Boeing that they're having continued problems with a critical instrument on brand new planes, but it also seems to me that this airline was being cheap by not fixing it and the pilot shouldn't have flown knowing it was broken. Airlines have the ability to get these kinds of things fixed incredibly quickly, as long as they pay for it.

The instrument was changed for this flight, though, from what I've read today.
