~*The Official Thread of Hero Cop Valor and Bravery*~

I saw this this morning and I thought it looked a little fishy too... I mean there are a lot of mentally disturbed individuals ruinning around NYC, but the timing of that and the fact that dude seemed to be waiting for someone to chase him looked a little suspect. Anyway, they caught "The Perpatrator" a block or so away... which also seems suspect given the fact that the cops that started to give chase looked like he may have had one too many donuts. This whole thing looks sus...

The family of a man who died during some sort of "scuffle" with Alameda police is contradicting the official narrative of how he died after a private viewing of a body camera video in the last moments of his life.

If I read this correctly a bit earlier, the judge now blocked the release of the body cam footage and it will only be shown to the family, who had to agree to not release it, in some sort of censored state. Apparently cops' faces will be blurred out and parts 'redacted'.

You can't even make this shit up anymore. Judging by the reactions to this one, this has to be their magnum opus of cruelty.

The cops fractured the woman’s arm and dislocated her shoulder during the arrest, her family has said, and it’s this horrific body-cam footage that the officers were caught on surveillance camera watching as Garner sat in a nearby cell for hours after her ordeal at the hands of the police.

“Ready for the pop?” Hopp said to Jalali and other officers while they gathered to watch the footage of the violent arrest. “What popped?” another officer asked. “I think it was her shoulder,” Hopp replied. These comments can be heard at 48:30 in the below video.

Hopp can be heard saying, “I can’t believe I threw a 73-year-old on the ground,” while Jalali comments: “It’s like live TV... Body-cams are my favorite thing to watch, I could watch livestream body-cams all day.” The third officer can be heard suggesting “The Body-Cam Show” as a title for a proposed television special, and says to Hopp, “Impressive, buddy.”

I didn't even know what was the worst thing from this article to highlight in bold text actually but this in particular just defies any even vague sense of decency.

the family and their lawyer has already seen it. Their lawyer said it looked like an execution even in the edited down version they were shown.

I’d say it speaks volumes that police believed this was worth calling a state of emergency preemptively and are fighting so hard to prevent any of the video bing released. If it was a just shooting, just release it in full.
