They were pretty clear that they wanted to create their own worlds and do their own thing. I would be surprised if MS put them on an existing property. But who knows. They could probably do it well if they wanted to. I'm just trying to think of which MS first party has experience with combat mechanics, and Ninja Theory is really the only one that does. I think the devs that made Killer Instinct were third party and went on to do other things. It might not be their sole project but I wouldn't be surprised if they had a hand in it. Should show up as a featured stream but if you still don't see it just search for the Xbox channel.
