Given how cost conscious they've always been, probably not much relatively.
Best
Poor Shenmue. One of my favorite games ever. I imported the Japanese version in 1999 a year before it released in the US. Great memory.
Spawn_of_Apathy
How bad were those that Concord didn’t even make the top 10? Sony about to refund all copies sold, meaning the game made $0 and all development and marketing was a loss.
TwinIon
I'm sure that Concord would make this list if it had been considered. I've never really seen good numbers for game development costs, so I'm sure that putting any list like this together involves a lot of guesswork. I wouldn't be surprised if Redfall should make the list. It was in development for 5 years by a big team and ended in the shuttering of the whole studio. Quick searching doesn't reveal any numbers for total costs or losses, but they're probably significant.
Mercury33
I’ll fight anyone who considers Too Human a failure. Incredible game and I’ll never get over not getting the sequels.

Definitely before they pulled the plug on it. It's why I said in the original post that when they update it, concorde will be on it for sure. Incredible game and I’ll never get over not getting the sequels. Same! Some gameplay jank but an incredibly interesting world and great music, etc. Back when Silicon Knights made great games like Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain and Eternal Darkness and The Twin Snakes. It was technically a "failure" in terms of money, etc. but I enjoyed the game. Same goes for Shenmue for me, I'm a huge fan. Even liked Shenmue III. I guess that game was a "failure" but it also got two sequels so I dunno. Maybe in terms of money spent they are bigger losses, but I feel like Redfall and Anthem should be above Shenmue and Too Human, at least replacing them on the list. It'd be nice to get a Too Human remaster.

It would be way more boring on this message board if a Zack Snyder-related thread is made and we don't get into yet another discussion of the man's entire body of work and making sure the thread gets to like at least 6 pages.

He sucks and like a gravity well I am powerless to resist. I haven't watched Rebel Moon The Derpmaker or the Scarfucker or whatever the shit it is yet, I will do a live watch at some point like I did for the Justice League Snyder Cut because I hate myself.

I'm not going to bat for Rebel Moon (they just aren't good movies), but I am prepared to get into lengthy discussions with you about it on the Entertainment board once you see them about how bad they truly are. If he sucks so much, why do you keep coming back for more? Clearly you like his brand of suck compared to many other directors, who also suck that you could hate watch. Maybe you don't hate yourself . . . maybe you don't hate Zack Snyder either. Edit: Also make sure you watch the directors' cuts of Rebel Moon. If you're gonna do it, do it right. My brother in Cthulhu, after the abomination that was the Whedon Cut I went BACK to the well for the 4 hour assault on my limbic system that was the Snyder Cut, if I'm going in, it's raw and balls deep.

That's the one! And by the way for those who didn't even click on the beginning of the video, this is about financial faliures and it's an old list which is why Concord isn't on it (as i said in the original post) Also... Zack Snyder peaked with 300. It was all downhill from there.
