stepee
Not to discount this game in anyway as True Colors and Before the Storm have proven Deck9 to be more than capable of continuing the franchise but don’t forget we have original developer Don’t Nod returning with a similar game (Lost Rexords: Bloom and Rage) this year as well! Good times.

Good times. True Colors was surprisingly good but Before the Storm was actively bad. None of the subsequent games from Deck9 or DONTNOD approach the lightning in a bottle that Life is Strange was, but despite that I'm unreasonably excited to see Max back. Before the Storm is not bad, in fact there are aspects of it that I like more than the first game. I just finished True Colors which I really enjoyed, and I’m currently playing Life is Strange 2 which I’m enjoying as well. I really like this series, and I’m looking forward to the new game.
Moa
It had some nice moments like the play, but Rachel felt like such a cardboard cutout and the antagonist's actions made absolutely no sense. One thing I really liked about the first game was that despite how batshit everything was, I could always understand the motivations and actions of the characters. The third act of Before the Storm just felt like senseless escalation for the purpose of climax. Spoiler I definitely came out of it slightly less negative but also feeling that if I had been involved in the original I'd be pissed at the prequel. That’s weird because I felt the relationship with Rachel felt way more organic than Chloe and Max, that was the part I thought stood out most as an improvement. Overall LIS1 is still my fav tho. Anyway, good news everyone, the game will let you choose the Bay or Bae ending to use as canon! @johnny

Moa
Spoiler IDK, the end choice kind of annoyed me since it clearly should be Chloe's decision and based on the final dialogue I think it's obvious that she wants you to save the bay.

BloodyHell
I wish I enjoyed these telltale style games, they seem to tell an interesting story, but I’d prefer them as just animated movies. I’ve tried a bunch of them and never get anywhere, I can’t find enjoyment in the gameplay style.

Andrea
Ugh I am dreading this game. Stephen got me into the first game years ago and we always played the new ones and discussed. He let me know as soon as this one was announced. I was looking forward to playing it and sharing the experience with him again. I don’t even know if I want to play it now. Or maybe in a little while. We’ll see. I thought it was cool that max was the main character again.
