Who is he?

He ran against Cuomo in 2010, got crushed, said racist shit about Obama and was booted from the school board he was on for releasing confidential information.

Heres what he said about the Obama's.

When asked what he would like to see happen in 2017, Paladino replied it was President Barack Obama dying of mad cow disease, stating: "Obama catches mad cow disease after being caught having relations with a Her[e]ford. He dies before his trial and is buried in a cow pasture next to [senior White House advisor] Valerie Jarret[t], who died weeks prior, after being convicted of sedition and treason, when a Jihady [sic] cell mate mistook her for being a nice person and decapitated her."After then being asked "what he would most like to see go in 2017", he replied: "Michelle Obama. I'd like her to return to being a male and let loose in the outback of Zimbabwe where she lives comfortably in a cave with Maxie, the gorilla."

But the Republican primary for Vermont governor is the once-in-a-blue-moon primary that could have the maximum possible impact on the general election: A bad result for the GOP could move this race all the way from “solid Republican” to “solid Democratic.”

The reason why:

Quote

Gov. Phil Scott, a centrist Republican stock-car driver, was once one of the most popular governors in the country — beloved by Republicans, Democrats and independents. But then, in April, he signed three historic gun-control laws, drawing fierce protests from residents of this traditionally pro-gun state. In a Morning Consult poll conducted after the signing, Scott’s popularity among Republicans dropped by 26 percentage points, and he now has a -15 net approval rating with voters of his own party. That could be a problem on Tuesday, given that shopkeeper Keith Stern is challenging Scott from the right, specifically criticizing Scott for signing the gun bills. The Republican Governors Association is acting like this is a competitive race: It has invested more than $1 million in a PAC supporting Scott’s re-election.

If Scott does lose the primary, then Stern, a more mainstream conservative, would instantly become a heavy underdog in this dark-blue state. (Going by our new and improved partisan lean metric,1 Vermont is 24 points more Democratic-leaning than the country as a whole.) Although none of the Democratic candidates has lit the world on fire financially, the favorite in the Democratic primary is probably former Vermont Electric Cooperative CEO Christine Hallquist, who, if elected, would be the nation’s first transgender governor.

I wonder how bad this tape is... Is he raging hatefully? Is he like one of those Asian kids who thinks he's "street" and uses the n word?

So the results are in and Kobach won to represent Republicans in the Kansas gubernatorial election. He's the worst choice of the Republicans who ran, and Democrats have been competitive in the governor's races for the better part of a decade now (won in 2006, just baaarreeely lost in a huge Republican year in 2014). This will be one to watch.

Tim Pawlenty lost his primary for MN Gov, lol.  The Iron Stache cruised to victory in Wisconsin.

I've heard he's seen TONS of bad press since last year, so that's a bit upsetting to hear.

Pawlenty really is boring. I wonder if he'll run for anything again.

The bad press is mostly a DUI arrest from 20 years ago, and hes not rich and had issues paying child support.
