Not sure how to read this.

I was wondering the same as I thought the Y axis on top was for the Republican candidate since that's where the words were, but I guess the - behind Republican means look for the negative numbers on the bottom (so higher is Dem, lower is Rep).

Yeah above 0 is dem below GOP, red is women, men black.  First is internet polls second polls with live interviews. The words on the side shouldn't be there as the title is about Dems.

Wait below 0 is GOP? Men are still favoring the GOP in both and over the phone by more...

Like... Maybe women can save us, they didn't save Hillary so..

Black women saved us in Alabama. ;)

In fact, from what I've seen, they've shown up in large numbers in just about all the big Dem wins in the past year.

Arizona Democratic Senate candidate won't vote for Chuck Schumer.

Quote

Kyrsten Sinema, one of the party’s most-prized recruits and a keystone of Democrats’ long-shot hopes of capturing the Senate this fall, has a ready rejoinder.

“I am not going to vote for him,” she said matter of factly when pressed on her view of the Democratic leader.

Sinema’s stance, revealed for the first time in a recent interview with POLITICO, is more radical than any member of the Democratic caucus, even vulnerable senators facing reelection deep in Trump country. But Sinema is staking her surprisingly strong campaign for Arizona’s open Senate seat on her close relationships with Republicans, praise for moderate Democrats and a distaste for the Democratic leader.

Quote

While Sinema, 41, builds up her name recognition and a $6 million-plus war chest, Republicans are engaging in a slugfest of a primary that will go on deep into August. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) wants Rep. Martha McSally (R-Ariz.) to emerge from a three-way primary against former state Sen. Kelli Ward and ex-Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, but Democrats say McSally is being pushed too far to the right to beat Sinema.

Her background:

Quote

Other members in the caucus praise Sinema, saying her independent streak and the fact that she doesn’t fit neatly into a box — she’s the first openly bisexual member of Congress, a former Mormon who now claims no religion — gives her widespread appeal.

And challenges in Arizona:

Quote

Sinema will have to do a lot more than just walk the ideological line to win in Arizona. Republican voters outnumber Democrats by about 170,000 in the state — though there’s a nearly equal swath of unaffiliated voters — and Republicans hold all statewide offices. Bill Clinton in 1996 was the last Democratic presidential nominee to carry the state; before that, the last Democrat to win Arizona was Harry Truman in 1948.

If women vote anywhere near what either polling average shows them at its going to be a massacre, they're ~+10 and +15.

fake but hell yeah

People believe this stuff now. Imagine how bad it's going to be in 1-5 years when the deepfake videos of Democrats come out where they actually say stuff like "First we'll start with aborting all of the white babies, then we'll lock the parents up in camps!"

Fake videos aren’t even necessary.  People believe Michelle Obama is a trans woman and Barrack sucks her dick every night.

I'm legitimately terrified of what it's going to be like when that stuff gets more prevalent.

Wait, don't you mean moderate dems are going to lose elections for dems? The social democrat won the nomination.

He's sarcastically making fun of the people with the mindset the Democratic Socialist candidates will lose elections, even though this could siphon votes from the Democratic primary winner.

He's p cool. I'd recommend reading about him.

Yes, I know who he is, I'm riffing on all the headlines that refer to "Texas Democrat" instead of calling him by his name.
