@Mr.Vic20 I've officially inverted the inverted ironheart inverter uh that's what happened right?

And on to hard mode (but we weren't already there if you know what I mean? :] )

You never told me if you do the infiltration on hard mode it skips the narration and objectives. That makes it much less mind numbing to grind.

Tried Hanged Man and failed. Probably should have consulted your instructions first but I just wanted to see what it looked like. :p

Definitely watch a "how to" on the hanged man, as he is the first really gimmicky boss. Hint: At a certain point, someone (probably a bunny for speed) needs to take the cube away from the base of the boss or you will all get vaporized. Everyone else should shoot the mouth.

Well when I went in there we were all Freynas. I actually picked up the cube first because I saw it laying there but only took it to the stairs (I had no idea what the cube does). But people were getting vaporized left and right and it was very hard to shoot the mouth. :p

Added visual hints (Ecive effects, chat messages) for locating Encrypted Vaults.

# Director's Comment
Recently, we've received feedback that players who are hard of hearing find it difficult to locate Encrypted Vaults. Therefore, we've added visual cues to the Encrypted Vaults hint to help more players feel comfortable playing The First Descendant. We hope this small change helps players with hearing loss, and we will continue to work hard to improve accessibility so that everyone can have a better gaming experience.

Well I'm glad they changed this. I've only found a couple but had no idea there was a sound that went along with it. :p

Replaced missions in Hard Infiltration Operations with more combat-oriented ones

Increased the EXP reward for completing Hard Infiltration Operations. Also increased EXP for defeating monsters by 1.5 times.
- You can now acquire rare basic materials as a reward for completing Hard Infiltration Operations.
- Increased EXP for defeating monsters in Normal Infiltration Operations by 1.5 times.

# Director's Comment
The 1.1.0 update brings many changes to Hard Infiltration Operations. We've changed some of the pre-existing missions such as Occupation, Defense, and Escort to Extermination or Destruction to give players a run-and-gun styled fast-paced combat experience as they enjoy repeated farming. The reward system has also been adjusted to reflect this: we've significantly increased the amount of EXP gained from defeating monsters and completing missions in Hard Infiltration Operations, and while Special Operations are still the better option for farming EXP, Infiltration Operations can now provide a decent amount of EXP as players farm items. Additionally, we've increased the amount of rare basic materials you can receive from clearing Hard Infiltration Operations. We'll continue to add more content that allows players to enjoy their favorite styles of combat.

Made improvements to allow the ability to designate the quantity of researches when researching enhancement materials.
- Reduced research time for [Standard/Precision] Ion Accelerator, Phase Exchanger, and Adjustment Control Axis.
# Director's Comment
We have added the ability to select the quantity of researches when researching enhancement materials. One consequence of this change is that only two studies in the research list will result for each enhancement material. This means, previously, multiple Adjustment Control Axis could be simultaneously created; now, when it comes to Adjustment Control Axis, only two can be researched at the same time.

With the addition of the research quantity selection feature, players can now research up to 500 Adjustment Control Axis at a time. This allows them to conduct more research in one go, reducing the number of visits to Anais. However, the inability to simultaneously conduct multiple research will reduce the amount of enhancement materials that can be acquired in a short period of time.

This is a nice change.

Changed some External Component icons to differentiate their appearance based on their DEF, Shield, and HP stats.
# Director's Comment
Previously, in Update 1.0.7, we added information for random options, Arche type of Reactors, and External Component sets for item icons. The feedback we received was, that players were distracted, as there was too much information included. Based on this, we've made improvements so that the icon information is presented in a cleaner, more organized way. Dev Team will continue to listen to the valuable feedback given by community and players as we continue to make improvements to the game.

@Mr.Vic20 I finally unlocked Sharen. It feels like she's advocating for her own game though. How is her skill set useful for taking down a colossi?

It’s not really. She is, at least currently, a utility character. She is best used in private mode to infiltrate outposts for select amorphous materials. I’ve seen some combat builds but they kind of kill the point of her skill set.

@Mr.Vic20 I was thinking of making my own Descendant how does this sound?

His name is Hercules Johnson. He's a ripped guy that looks like Michael Jai White and runs around in a speedo.

His skills:

1. He throws a grappling hook (not unlike scorpion) and pulls enemies towards him and the enemies hit by the hook take burn damage (it can pull multiple and hit multiple) as an added bonus it can pull the shields off of the enemies that walk around with shields.

2. A fiery AOE ground pound that launches enemies in the air. The impact causes damage and they take dot burn damage and also get stunned when they hit the ground.

3. An AOE shout that increases damage of yourself and allies and also provides a dispel to any ally that is currently affected plus increased status resistance against enemies.

4. Rampage mode, he puts the guns away and has increased health, strength, speed and jumping ability and goes on a rampage with just his fiery fists punching enemies (like a hulk mode)

Cut the check!

Also if you don't like the name Hercules Johnson I also thought of, Noah Anderson, which might fall in line with the more ordinary names in the game. :p

First, anyone who would want you to change the name Hercules Johnson is a fool and should not be listened to in such matters! Second, The build sounds fun and fairly Warframe Rhino like, minus the "get over here!" power. That said, I'm taking a break form this game while they sort out what they want to do for a minute. Its crazy how much they are changing and how erratically as its become a game built by angry internet committee. I am, finally, Starting Trouble Shooters this weekend though! :sun:

@Mr.Vic20 I'm trying to get Gley and the middle two pieces (the stabalizer and spiral catalyst) involve grinding outposts, which don't always drop the amorphous materials but THEN you have to go to the reactor that has like a 6% drop rate to drop the cells. Is there a better way to do this?

Each component material usually has more than one way to acquire it. Is this not the case with this component?  I honestly don't remember because Gley was an early get for me and Gley Ult was my main for most of my time with the game.

@Mr.Vic20

So whatever the 2nd component was, it was 3 reactors and one very hard Intercept, like one of the last ones that I haven't unlocked yet. The outpost in the Vespers had a 3% chance to drop, which wasn't dropping. There was one in the Fortress, which was difficult at the time I was trying it, so I didn't try it. Well I tried it this time and it had a 36% chance and I got it first try.

The second one I avoided because I didn't want to grind the hanged man, but hanged man only had a 3% and didn't get it. However, the hard intercept, devourer I think, had a 36% and I got it today (another one I might have avoided because it was hard)

So now I have Gley on the way!

Missing out on reviewers hating on micro-transactions and grinding. But the grind is the game. Then reviewers being baffled that it somehow succeeded.

It's free you can check it out real quick to see the nice graphics (you're a graphics whore) then delete.

Ok. I'll try and check it out on PS5. Also, I wasn't trying to hate on the game I was genuinely curious.

Honestly, when I see the game I think of you, just because of the graphics. I think you might like how it looks but it's not a "Best" game at all I would never think you'd get seriously into it.

Vic and Keyser are two intelligent young men. If they have put a lot of time in this game then that's evidence to me that the game must be fun and entertaining.

If it got trashed in reviews for micro transactions then that makes sense.

NBA 2K25 is considered the best basketball game made from 2K. BUT, 2K shoves micro transactions at you in every menu and to really advance in my player you litteraly have to pay real money to accomplish that. So it received a lot of 6 and 7/10 scores.

He has put 420 hours into the game (according to steam) he basically lived in the game for a month. :p

I'm only at 129 hours.

I don’t mind micro transactions. But NBA 2K literally requires you to spend lots of money to be able to compete online. That’s bullshit.

When I boot up the game I have to cancel out 3 micro transactions in a row before I do anything. It's so ridiculous.
