If Trump does something egregious enough in this investigation (I can't say firing Rod Rosenstein would do it, but it could) then yeah, it'd make a difference for the average American who says stupid shit in CNN's town hall meetings, etc. It's almost mind boggling that some haven't picked a side or have stuck to Trump not even knowing how bad it is.
