Keyser_Soze Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Max is showing it off right now and Justin Wong is there if you want to check it out. I'm sure he'll upload a video if it later. https://www.twitch.tv/maximilian_dood Quote
Spork3245 Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 MK, since the reboot, has had some of the most fun SP campaigns, and that’s certainly not just for fighting games. I’m very much looking forward to this. Quote

Biggie Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 Max is so cool. Started watching him on Twitch when you kept mentioning him. Mortal Kombat is looking great. 1 Quote

SoberChef Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 Smoke looks freaking awesome & his move set is very intriguing to me. Seeing old skool Frost, that's what's up as well!!! Quote
gamer.tv Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 I’ve only played the MK series (being literal) for a combined hour or so. Maybe it’s time… Quote

Especially this one, COME ON MAN! I'm not buying game, maybe next years ultimate directors cut. I'm a sucker for most shit but MK11 is a fantastic game. I'm good on MK for 2023 at least! Quote
Brick Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 Omni-Man and Homelander seems a bit redundant, doesn't it? Quote

DPCyric Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 The roster is looking great I was worried when this was announced because the characters I like came out after the first MK but I at least am going to be playing Smoke, Kenshi and Li Mei (Tanya looks cool too)! Quote
SoberChef Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 So happy that Ermac is Konfirmed to be Koming back! As for Omni-Man v. Homelander ... two entirely different entities there honestly. Quote

legend Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 I love this dumb series. I'm digging the art direction in this one too. Quote
SoberChef Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 I may be entirely way the hell off base ... BUT ... Ed made a tweet, gosh a good 18-24 months ago now I believe, inquiring about fans' wanting a new Konquest mode. As these trailers have been released, each slowly peeling away more & more layers of characters, worlds, etc. I can't help but have this little bright light of optimism for this to be true! I played the Konquest mode in MK: Deception SO much ... to the point that IF this is actually a thing, I very well may have a new gaming obsession for months to come that I didn't even anticipate! SoberChef Posted August 23, 2023 Posted August 23, 2023 I was never a big fan of Sindel since MK3, but this iteration is seemingly badass AF! Also, Shao in such a role, fascinating to behold! 1 Quote
SoberChef Posted August 23, 2023 Posted August 23, 2023 Opening 17 minutes of gameplay (Spoilers duh!) Quote

Whenever they did the previous timeline reboot where Raiden from the previous game(s) sent a warning of all the events that happened through time to his younger self just before the first tournament). Sindel, canonically, was originally resurrected and empowered with souls of a few dead characters from the first two games, but in the reboot, with the knowledge Raiden had the Earth-Realm fighters killed a lot more of Outworld’s soldiers/fighters nearly all at once including 3 boss-level fighters that were then able to be used for her resurrection and it’s why she was OPed AF in the story-mode cutscenes. 1 Quote
SoberChef Posted August 23, 2023 Posted August 23, 2023 Good looking out Spork, appreciate someone else getting nerdy AF over the timelines and all that! Such an exiting time for this franchise. It's like a whole new world *cue Aladdin music* Quote

It was the first fighting game I think I played that had a real story mode instead of just ending cutscenes for each character upon beating a tower/whatever + boss in an arcade-like mode. Quote
