Reputator
You didn't love it? Why sir, I fart in your general direction!
Keyser_Soze
You must have had a terrible childhood. I'm sorry.
Commissar SFLUFAN
It's probably the most ponderous watch of the Python films for me, but somehow the theatrical production is VASTLY more entertaining.

There were a few scenes that stood out. The God scene I enjoyed. The coconut discussion at the beginning. The flesh wound. And the song about how he ran away and retreated from whatever that three-headed dude was. There were basically individual scenes that I enjoyed more than others, like a skit show. The ending being a literal copout was weird and apparently John Cleese didn't like it and that they couldn't afford to finish the story. Reputator
TBF I only watched it once more than ten years ago, but I hear it quoted a lot. It pretty much is remembered for its individual moments.
Nokra
Yeah it's an insanely quotable movie, and of course the influence of Monty Python is huge, but as a standalone film I guess it's not likely to be everyone's cup of tea. It was an absolute favorite as a kid, and I watched this and all of Flying Circus pretty regularly. I love absurdist humor.

GeneticBlueprint
If you grew up reading Arthurian legends in school and it's hard not to love the movie. It really is made up of its individual scenes though. It feels like a movie made by a comedy troupe...
Bloodporne
My home's entire sense of humor was built on Monty Python, I swear. That movie is so ingrained in my childhood. We were watching that with me at probably 9 years of age and nearly pissing ourselves at the "bring out your dead" scene. It all makes sense now...
