Lots of gains and losses, but only two players change their place on the leaderboard as AbsolutSurgen swaps places with Slug as the new leader going in to the Christmas weekend! Will he be a good boy and be allowed to retain that spot, or will he trip on some coal and fall down the rungs?  Let's find out!

 

########## WEEK 14 RESULTS ##########

 

Week 14 Feature Game: New England Patriots @ Arizona Cardinals (+1.5)
The Patriots went into Arizona and ruined the Cardinals, winning handily by a score of 27-14.5(13+1.5).  Bets on New England win.

 

QUESTIONS
1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Patriots TD, Patriots FG, Patriots safety, Cardinals TD, Cardinals FG, Cardinals safety, or other? ($900 for the correct call)
A second quarter Matt Prater field goal accounted for the first points in this one.  Arizona FG is the call. Brian and Keyser_Soze were the only players to get this one.

 

2) How many total, combined touchdowns will be scored in the Feature Game? ($900 for the correct call)
New England scored 3 while Arizona managed to get in the end zone just once for a total of 4. Brian and Keyser_Soze again were the only winners here.

 

3) Which QB will have the highest number of pass ATTEMPTS in Week 14? ($1,000 for a correct QB)
Tom Brady had the highest number of pass attempts in Week 14 with 55, in a losing effort in SF. Only AbsolutSurgen called Tom's pass happy (sad?) day.

 

4) Name any defensive player that will be credited with 2 or more interceptions this week. ($1,000 for the correct name)
Two players, Josey Jewell and Tremon Smith were the only players to come up with 2 picks in Week 14.  Nobody called either player.

 

5) Call the winners:
Carolina Panthers at Seattle Seahawks
Houston Texans at Dallas Cowboys
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Tennessee Titans
($700 for EACH correct named game winner, $1,800 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)
Not a lot of faith in Carolina or Jacksonville this week.  Nobody earned the bonus.

 

6) Philadelphia @ New York Giants: Over or under 45.5 points? ($700 for the correct number)
Over.  Way over.  Philly covered the over by themselves, wrecking the Giants by a score of 48-22 for a combined 70 points.

 

7) Improbable completions: Name the receiver that will come down with the most improbable reception in Week 14 (lowest completion probability % when the ball is caught)? ($900 for the correct call)
Evan Ingram came down with a 21 yard TD catch that only had a 21.1% probability of completion, for the most unlikely reception of Week 14.  Nobody called Ingram's number.

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week fourteen. ($2,800 for each player named correctly, $7,500 bonus if both names are called)
Miles Sanders ground out 144 yards rushing and Justin Jefferson pulled in a ridiculous 223 yards receiving to be the Week 14 yardage leaders. Nobody called Sanders, but both Commissar SFLUFAN and Keyser_Soze named Jefferson!  No bonus awarded.

(Remember you are betting against the spread, not just the outright winner)

2) Which team will score LAST in the Feature Game? ($700 for the right team)

 

3) Yes or no: will any player be credited with 3 or more touchdowns in Week 16? Again, we're talking the guy holding the ball in the endzone. ($700 for a correct answer)

 

4) Cold hands: Name any player that will fumble more than once this week. ($1,000 for a correct name)

 

5) Call the winners:
Washington Commanders at San Francisco 49'ers
New Orleans Saints at Cleveland Browns
Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys
($700 for EACH correct named game winner, $1,800 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)

 

6) With 3 weeks left to play in the regular season, 6 teams have clinched a playoff spot already.  How many will have clinched after Week 16 is over? ($800 for the correct number)

 

7) Name a player who will have one of the top 3 longest runs of Week 16? ($1,000 for the correct call)

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week fourteen. ($3,000 for each player named correctly, $8,000 bonus if both names are called)
