TUFKAK Posted November 24, 2022 Share Posted November 24, 2022 I know I’m one of the few hockey fans here, maybe the Leafs fan, but, Borje Salming was a legend in both the sport and in Leafs history. he was dx ALS in April, gone today, American Thanksgiving. Not even two weeks ago he dropped the ceremonial puck in TO. NHL tradition is to have the captains take the puck drop, they had two Swedes do it. My parents had a neighbor for about 20 years. The man and his wife took an early retirement, moved across the country to their small dream home. He seemed to be in perfect health. 4 months later he suddenly got diagnosed with ALS. Original Dr said his symptoms are so mild he probably has a good 10 years left.
