Slug hangs in there for one more week, losing on his Feature Game bet but being the only player to hit the Question 5 bonus.  But the rest of the field is closing in as several players made big gains with some smart wagers.  Returning after our Week 10 BYE, the MGT rolls into Week 11.  Let's do this!

 

ALSO: A prize is to be awarded to a random player because of the Commanders' MNF win over the Eagles in Week 10.  Stay tuned. :)

 

########## WEEK 9 RESULTS ##########

 

Week 9 Feature Game: Baltimore Ravens @ New Orleans Saints (+2.5)
Baltimore goes into New Orleans and beats the Saints by a score of 27-15.5(13+2.5).  Bets on the Ravens win.  Only 2 players (Keyser_Soze and Slug) lost their bets on this one!

 

QUESTIONS
1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Ravens TD, Ravens FG, Ravens safety, Saints TD, Saints FG, Saints safety, or other? ($700 for the correct call)
A 24 yard Lamar Jackson pass to Likely for a touchdown is the first score of this one.  Ravens TD is the call.

 

2) How many field goals (not PATs) will be scored in the Feature Game? ($600 for the correct team)
Each team converted a pair of field goals for 4 total.

 

3) Which team in the Feature Game will have more rushing yards credited to wide receivers? ($500 for the correct team)
This was a tie as neither team had any rushing yards credited to a WR.  Only AbsolutSurgen called the draw!

 

4) Los Angeles Rams @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Over or Under 42.5 points? ($500 for the right guess)
A lower scoring affair, the Rams and Bucs combined for 29 total points.  Under is the call.

 

5) Call the winners:
Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals
Las Vegas Raiders at Jacksonville Jaguars
Los Angeles Chargers at Atlanta Falcons
($500 for EACH correct named game winner, $800 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)
Slug was the only player to pick all three games right to earn the bonus.

 

6) How many home teams will win in Week 9? ($700 for the correct answer)
Seven home teams were victorious in Week 9.

 

7) Name the QB that will throw the most interceptions in Week 9 ($800 for the correct answer)
Aaron Rodgers threw 3 picks in the loss at Detroit to be the Week 9 leader in interceptions.  Nobody called him.

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week nine. ($1,800 for each player named correctly, $3,600 bonus if both names are called)
Justin Fields ran for a quarterback record-setting 178 yards to be Week 9's rushing leader.  Davante Adams wins the week's receiving title with 146. Considering a QB got the rushing title this week, it's no surprise that nobody called these names or earned the bonus.

Tennessee Titans @ Green Bay Packers (-3.5)
(Remember you are betting against the spread, not just the outright winner)

 

QUESTIONS
1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Titans TD, Titans FG, Titans safety, Packers TD, Packers FG, Packers safety, or other? ($800 for the correct call)

 

2) Which team in the Feature Game will commit more turnovers? ($600 for the correct team)

 

3) Which quarter in the Feature Game will be the highest scoring? ($600 for the correct answer)

 

4) Name any player that will be credited with 2 or more sacks in Week 11. ($700 for a correct name)

 

5) Call the winners:

Washington Commanders at Houston Texans
Las Vegas Raiders at Denver Broncos
($600 for EACH correct named game winner, $900 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)
