Slug jumps to the top of the leaderboard on a conservative Week 3 bet that saw almost the entire field eat losses on the Feature Game!  Will he stay there?  Doubtful!

 

########## WEEK 3 RESULTS ##########

 

Week 3 Feature Game - San Francisco 49'ers (-1.5) @ Denver Broncos
The Broncos just manage to edge out the Niners by a score of 11-8.5(10-1.5).  Bets on Denver win. Dodger and Slug were the only players to bet the Feature Game correctly.

 

QUESTIONS
1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? 49'ers TD, 49'ers FG, 49'ers safety, Broncos TD, Broncos FG, Broncos safety, or other? ($300 for the correct call)
A first quarter touchdown by San Francisco is the first scoring play of the game and one of only two TDs of the game between both teams.

 

2) Which team in the Feature Game willl have the player with the longest rushing play? ($200 for the correct team)
Jeff Wilson Jr. cracked off a 37 yard run for the longest rush in the feature game. San Francisco is the call.

 

3) Which team in the Feature Game willl have the player with the longest passing play? ($200 for the correct team)
Courtland Sutton pulled in a pass for 34 yards for the longest of the game for Denver.

 

4) Name the quarterback that will be sacked the most times in Week 3. ($400 for the right player)
Carson Wentz was sacked a ridiculous 9 times in the Commanders' drubbing by the Eagles.  Also I hate everything. BasemntDweller2, Commissar SFLUFAN, and silentbob each predicted Wentz' no good very bad day.

 

5) Call the winners:
Atlanta Falcons at Seattle Seahawks
Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants
($200 for EACH correct named game winner, $400 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)

A road team sweep! Kal-El814 was the only player to call all three games correctly to earn the bonus!

 

6) How many kickers will successfully hit field goals of 50 yards or greater in Week 3? ($400 for the correct number)
9 different kickers hit from 50 or more yards in Week 3. Nobody called this one.

 

7) Which team will lose by the largest point margin in Week 3? ($300 for the correct answer)
The Chargers got rolled by a score of 38-10 by the Jags for a 28 point difference, the largest of the week.

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week three. ($900 for each player named correctly, $2,000 bonus if both names are called)
Khalil Herbert laid down 157 yards rushing and Devonta Smith had 169 through the air to be your Week 3 yardage leaders.  Nobody called either player.

Week 4 Feature Game
Miami Dolphins (+3.5) @ Cincinnati Bengals
(Remember you are betting against the spread, not just the outright winner)

 

QUESTIONS
1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Dolphins TD, Dolphins FG, Dolphins safety, Bengals TD, Bengals FG, Bengals safety, or other? ($300 for the correct call)

 

2) Which team in the Feature Game will complete passes to the greater number of DIFFERENT players? ($200 for the correct team)

 

3) Which team in the Feature Game will win the time of possession battle? ($200 for the correct team)

 

4) Name the player that will score the first touchdown in the Chicago Bears @ New York Giants game. ($300 for the right player)

 

5) Call the winners:
Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts
Arizona Cardinals at Carolina Panthers
Buffalo Bills at Baltimore Ravens
($200 for EACH correct named game winner, $500 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)

 

6) After 3 weeks we still have 2 winless teams (the Raiders and the Texans).  Will this still be true after Week 4? ($200 for the correct answer)

 

7) Name any single player that will be credited with 2 or more sacks in Week 4. ($300 for a right name)

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week four. ($900 for each player named correctly, $2,500 bonus if both names are called)
