EternallDarkness
when I read that bit about two lackluster action scenes early today I couldn't believe it. Blade should be 90% action scenes.

Moving the second Avengers movie out of the same calendar year was always going to happen, interesting to see the other changes. Blade is a weird slot, it has done big business like with what Warners did with IT, but traditionally not strong.

For MCU films for 2023 there is Ant-Man 3 in February, Guardians 3 in May, and The Marvels in July. For MCU TV shows for 2023 there is What If season 2 and Secret Invasion in "early" 2023, Echo and Loki season 2 in "mid" 2023, and Ironheart and Agatha: Coven of Chaos in "late" 2023. Still a good bit of MCU stuff for 2023 (3 films, 6 TV shows). Most of the moved dates are by just 2-3 months except Blade and Avengers: Secret Wars. silentbob
After seeing Werewolf by Night. I thought they might of asked whoever wrote that to take a swing at Blade, since they’re familiar with the genre
Ghost_MH
And they've found a director. I can't complain... Greatoneshere
It's a solid replacement given the situation. Lovecraft Country was really good, and he directed the really good movies '71 and White Boy Rick. I like this choice.

I had no idea who he was when i saw the news but when I saw his resume, I saw that he's the right guy for the job. White Boy Rick was pretty good and Lovecraft Country was VERY solid.

In other news, I'm on the hunt for that issue of Tomb of Dracula. I've been buying a LOT of old comics at auctions recently... scored a HUGE drop last week including the first appearance of Jason Todd as Robin, The first appearances of The Wrecker and Cloak and Dagger and the original Wolverine Frank Miller limited series and a bunch of old Chris Claremont/John Byrne Xmen. Very happy with that catch. I've got my eye on this, and Adam Warlock's first appearance as well as Thanos'.
