I'm confused why your confused. They've been teasing the game for years and just this spring said it would arrive next spring.

It having a title is what threw me off. I haven't been keeping up with this game in the slightest so this all was a shock to me.

I loved BOTW so I'm excited. Plus, maybe stepee is correct and the Switch 2 will release when Zelda does.

yeah it's nice to have a title now. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a switch 2 coming, though I would have thought news of it would have leaked by now. All I know is it better be backward compatible.

Kind of ironic for me to say when I love the shit out of Death Stranding but this looks like more emptiness like BotW. I'd buy a Switch for this though if it turns out to have robust dungeons and all so there's that. I wanted to for BotW but didn't care for it so no Switch.

From what they’ve shown so far, I don’t think it looks very much like BoTW at all in that, aside from the obvious implications of the world below.

The sky areas seem pretty linear and directed thus far. But who can say for sure.

What if Tears of the Kingdom refers to it being ripped apart. Like it was once a full land, but was torn apart and turned into sky islands!?

Oh so not tears as in droplets from your eyes, but tears as in the Kingdom has been torn apart. Hmm interesting. We'll have to wait until we hear it pronounced.

Kicking off tomorrow, March 28 at 3pm BST/ 4pm CEST/ 10am ET/, Nintendo will show off about 10 minutes of Tears of the Kingdom gameplay on the company's YouTube channel. It will be hosted by, unsurprisingly, series producer Eiji Aonuma. This marks the first time that Nintendo will actually show off the game in action, rather than through what appears to have been camera angles the final game won't actually use. As is par for the course with Nintendo, the announcement didn't share much more than that, so you'll have to tune in to actually get a look at what's what for yourself.

I'll definitely check out the 10 minutes of gameplay. Once this release gets closer I'll start to get hyped. I just don't care atm.

With that being said, I just scheduled off the day of release because I know it will be fantastic and gigantic. :angry-fap-small:

Finally some actual gameplay being shown off. I've got a 50 dollar Best Buy gift card just waiting for this game, but it's weird that they really haven't shown it talked much about this game, although maybe as of tomorrow the real marketing campaign will start.
