But since most people only care about posting their pics online these days, I realized I don't need it. So I got myself an Acer Predator 27" for some sweet high-refresh rate g-sync madness. If I have a 1080ti I might as well use it! I gave the 30" to my fiancee and took her 23" IPS for my second monitor. I can't believe how buttery-smooth 165hz is! Massdriver Posted September 10, 2018 Share Posted September 10, 2018 I got a 1440p 144hz freesync monitor and it was one of the best upgrades in years, and that was coming from a 1600p 60 hz monitor.
