gamer.tv
In reality, I should probably be running 6+ miles for my jogs butn slack. I’ve just maintained a level of fitness over the last few years which just keeps me in good knick.

Brian
Started intermittent fasting (8-16) and 4 mile runs at 5:30am. Runs are ok. Fasting sucks. I also started to do single leg pistol squats because I was told that my right butt cheek is smaller than my left. No clue how that happened.

I've been doing it for years just because it's when I get hungry and not even knowing it.

Emblazon
What I've been doing is minimal calories in the morning/afternoon, and having most of my calories/nutrients at night. https://www.livestrong.com/article/557830-4-reasons-to-eat-more-calories-and-carbs-at-night/ Turns out, it's been working wonders for me. Guest
Did about a decent run/jogging path today. 1.85 miles running, walking 1.15 miles in between, total 3 miles. Okay I guess. Heat is brutal for me currently.
gamer.tv
Small jog for me too and weather was cool so it was nice. Will hopefully wake up early tomorrow and smash out a pre work workout. Aiming to do a 10K hill walk on Saturday and maybe a little job prior.
Guest
This weather is amazing. 71 high. Makes it much tolerable to run longer. Split my running a bit. Did about 1.5 miles first, then another .72 miles, totaling to 2.22 for the first bit. Walked for about 10 minutes, did another 1 mile run, walking the rest. Fitbit says I did about 5.63 total distance within the hour with walking and jogging. Not bad... I guess?
gamer.tv
Felt a little ping in my groin on Monday, though nothing of it, still there today. Sounds like it's time for 2 days of ibuprofen and hope it gets better quickly.
Guest
1 day of rest is not enough for me. Struggled to do a mile straight. Struggled more to do a 1/3 mile. Had to walk the rest of my route.

Perhaps some light weight lifting

SuperSpreader
For calf I usually do a soft ball on a coffee table, sit with my leg up resting on the ball and roll it around. Hips is all painful foam roll and tears
SuperSpreader
just got a new Reebok gym bag. SO EXCITED. My last gym back was falling apart, and I had ordered a Nike Brasilia but it was flimsy as fuck.
DarkStar189
Has anyone here ever gone down the rabbit hole of making your own protein/energy bars? I'm a very active person with my job so it's pretty common for me to have some sort of a protein bar once a day and I've never actually looked into making your own (if it's possible). Before I go searching online and sifting through cutesy pinterest shit I was wondering if anyone here already makes anything. Preferably something you make in a batch that will last at least a week. gamer.tv
If you can be bothered, it’s pretty easy. I found with food like that, it’s not the making but the extras cleaning that put a stop to it.
Guest
So um yeah. My ankles and feet have been having difficulty to recover. Would really like to run, but earlier today even walking without wincing from sharp sensation was a struggle. :\

It took me a while to find the right running shoes that didn't damage my feet. I'm all Reebok, the brand just fits my flat ass flipper feet. I had training and was wearing formal/fashion shoes for 4 days of training, 8 hours a day, and the right shoe was digging into the backside of my foot. I wouldn't be surprised that because of that slight discomfort I was starting to put more pressure on my left foot/ankle/leg, although I had some wincing last week before training began. And then there's my sneakers, which might be worn out considering how the material/fabric towards the front of the foot felt super soft... There's a reason they make athletic ones.

Guest
Almost two weeks, and my knee and ankle haven't really recovered at all, if anything might have gotten worse. I still have this sharp pain even when I'm walking, although in a rush to catch public transportation. I wonder if it's some kind of tendonitis

gamer.tv
May finally be able to make use of my school's gym so long as I can find 20 minutes to have an induction. Although not a lot, will definitely save me a £200 (and it makes sense to use since I need to go to work anyway, might as well go a little earlier).
