Guest Posted August 5, 2022 Share Posted August 5, 2022 From some further reading: the intersection is at the bottom of a steep hill and generally fairly dangerous for cross traffic, lot of side impacts there on a weekly basis. There are many other plausible explanations for what occurred besides an intentional act by the driver. But again, the assumption that the driver must have intended to do this is based on nothing as far as I am aware. That is merely one of many plausible explanations. Looking on google maps street view, the "hill" that's there is barely much of anything, so attaining a rate of speed due to steep decline doesn't quite seem up to snuff to me.
