Higher rates *might* drive down prices, but with demand outpacing supply at a crazy rate I don't think rates will impact people buying homes. It kills 1st lien refinance business, unless you REALLY need cash out and don't care that you are taking your first lien up 2+% to take out equity, and makes 2nd lien and 2nd lien HELOCs more attractive.
