I don't use straws.

I have shared a spoon/fork/straw with my wife and daughter. I wouldn’t share with anyone else.

Nobody. I didn't even share drinks/food with my identical twin. I find it really gross to swap spit.

I don’t use spoons. I use a fork for everything I eat. Even for something like ramen it works better to just sip from the bowl and then you have the more efficient fork for the noodles. I will sometimes use a spork for ice cream.

Growing up, I lived next to three sets of cousins and we would all eat and drink after each other. I am now married into a big family of food sharers, so the list of people who I’ve shared utensils with is probably substantial compared to most people here, but still limited to my family members I’m close to.

I'll share with pretty much anyone I know reasonably well, it doesn't bother me. Their mouth probably isn't grosser than mine.

 

I dunno, I've done enough gross, unsafe shit that sharing food/eating utensils doesn't seem like a big deal. It's like making out with someone, and if you're not comfortable making out with your friends, I don't know what to tell you.

Up to some close friends on occasion. I don't really get bothered by stuff like that. My work friend gave me a bite of her pasta last night and I just took it off her fork.
